For example, the bitter taste with the unpleasant look in bitter gourd…that makes people want to keep away from them.

Here it’s the time for the consumptive revolution!!….Asian people know very well for these amazing properties of bitter gourd; on the other hand, foreigners afraid to consume it without recognition of its extraordinary advantage. Now…Let see the bitter gourd advantage…

Firstly, the bitter taste of bitter gourd helps us for more appetite because of the bitter substance in itself help to stimulate and produce more digesting juice which help people to consume more food. We can simply cook with soft boil or grill in fire and dip in chili sauce.

Next, the properties of bitter gourd help to remedy and heal diabetes at the first stage. With its special properties in bitter gourd, it helps to increase beta cell in pancreas which will stimulate Insulin production (hormone which helps to control sugar level in blood). Interestingly, bitter gourd has enzyme that have duty to digest sugar and carbohydrate. The nutrients are blended in the protein form which helps to relieve pain causing from liver disease and diabetes. Moreover, bitter gourd can also cure the hepatitis, knee cap pain, and lienitis by consuming the raw bitter gourd regularly.

Nevertheless, there are many more nutrition facts in bitter gourd because it is full of phosphorus, calcium, vitamin C, B1 to B3, Beta Carotene, Fiber, Iron, Potassium and etc.

The special menu for bitter gourd are ‘Bitter gourd soup in sparerib broth’, ‘Bitter gourd soup with hotchpotch’, Stir bitter gourd with minced pork’, Stir bitter gourd with prawn, Stir bitter gourd with oyster sauce’, and etc. If you want to decrease the degree of bitter taste in bitter gourd, you need to boil it for longer time and admix with salt before making taste (or) boil in hot water once and boil again with new water before consuming it. This will make it easier to eat.

A little more tip is we can eat raw bitter gourd but NOT the ripe ones because it can cause you nausea. The Saponin substance exists a lot in ripe ones and it is toxic to body. Moreover, do not eat too much bitter gourd as well because you can get diarrhea due to its property of laxative.

Wow!! Can believe that this bitter gourd with unpleasant look that many people don’t like will have this much benefit to body. So, we should turn ourselves to consume more bitter gourd for better health!
